Founded in late summer of 2010, the Irish Pride Dancers is a team of champion dancers from Aniar Academy of Irish Dance that have joined up with Irish Pride to promote Irish dance, music, and culture to Southern California.
Originally the troupe members decided to meet up once a week to practice figure (team) dances so they could start back up in competitions. When they were asked to perform alongside the younger dancers of Aniar Academy at Those Manning Boys show at Farnsworth Park in Altadena, CA, something magical took place. Acting quickly Those Manning Boys snatched up the group, named them the Irish Pride Dancers after their line of clothing, and the rest is history!

The group has since then focused their efforts on choreographing unique and original routines to bands own songs, and has already danced multiple times with such great bands as The Young Dubliners, The Galway Hooker Band, The Brick Top Blaggers, Those Manning Boys, The Moynihans, and The Regulars, and the Irish Volunteers; and in such venues as the Galaxy Theater, The Key Club, the Brixton, and the shamROCK festival held yearly in San Diego, and most recently in Las Vegas at the Celtic Highland Games and Fremont St Experience. The group can choreograph to any genre of music, for any type of show (band performance, corporate, weddings), and can provide audience instruction/participation.
